Rtn. Amit Jain joined rotary in 1979 and took over as youngest President of Rotary Club of Delhi City in the year 1981-82 in R.I District 310 (Now District 3010) when the then Vice President of India, Shri M. Hidyatulla was the Chief Guest. As a President he created a history by forming Rotract and Interact I the same year and was adjudged as the outstanding President of the year by the then District Governor Lakshmi Sagar of Ambala. Apart from this he also bagged Best Club award and give other a member of Reception Committee of the International Conference of Goodwill held in Delhi at Vigyan Bhawan. He also received a merit certificate from the R.I President Stan Meferry in the year 1981-82. All the club Presidents have recognized his services at club level.

Amit Jain has won various awards at club level such as best Rotarian, Service above Self, Best Board Member, Best Past President, Best Chairman(RF) etc. Amit is currently an active member of Rotary Club of Delhi Heritage. Since 1982 Amit Jain has been serving tge district at various levels. He has always been a part of District Administration Council, served as District Secretary Administration, Zone Committee Coordination, Assistant Governor Administration, District Secy, Meets. He has to his credit organizing several PETs, Conferences and District Assemblies. He was the member of district Nominating Committee.

He was the leader of Group Study Exchange Team to U.K., Dist. 1140(1998-99) and also served as a host of Ambassadorial Scholar from USA. Managing Director M/s Jin Motor company Ltd., dealing in Auto Spare Parts, he as a number of business interests which include manufacturing and distribution automobile spate parts and he also owns a petrol filling station.

He has been the Executive member of Automotive Parts merchants Association and Delhi Motor Traders Association. He is alto associated with various social and religious organizations. He is a Executive Member of Civil Lines Welfare Association. He has traveled widely in Indian and abroad. His wife Swati Jain, a graduate housewife, is also engaged in fashionable sarees business designed by her. She is socially very active, a Paul Harris fellow and has been supporting in all Rotary activities. They have 3 children-Daughters Paradhi Jain(PHF), Akriti Jain(PHF), and son Devansh Jain (PHF).
